WH20 Radio is a radio station in Bikini Bottom that is first mentioned in the The Best Day Ever album and later appears physically in the episode "SpongeBob TrashPants."

Description[]

The building is a huge sunken red and white ship with a gray satellite, several windows and a double door on the side, as well as a large red radio mast rising from its center. There are a few texts on its wall, and one of them shows the name of the place in light blue and yellow lettering.

Role in episode[]

Plankton lands on top of the building's radio mast with SpongeBob to shock him with electricity, but SpongeBob holds on and doesn't fall. Then the tower breaks off, and the music cuts out for a group of beachgoers who are listening to it, until one of them fixes it by hitting the radio.

The Best Day Ever[]

WH2O Radio plays the music of the band "SpongeBob and the Hi-Seas," with the host Al Bacore announcing each upcoming song and various other events.

Trivia[]

  • By reappearing in the episode "SpongeBob TrashPants" from The Best Day Ever album, it marks the first time that an album made for the franchise has been referenced in the show itself.
    • One of the texts on the station reads "Nothin' but chase music since 2006!" referencing the album's release year.
    • Another text reads "Home of the Tuneful Tuna," referencing Al Bacore's nickname.
