Season 2 was a great season, but it did have some slip-ups. Today, we're going to look at the worst season 2 episodes. Let's get to the countdown!
- #5 The Smoking Peanut: Okay, I don't really hate this episode. I just think it's not as good as some other season 2 episodes. I only put it so I can have a top 5 instead of a top 4. I just find it kind of boring. I mean I would go back to this episode for the ending after watching a CheapKrabs episode (that's what I call Episodes where Mr. Krabs acts like a cheapskate). It's just meh to me.
- #4 Grandma's Kisses: I was not a fan of this episode. To start off, Squidward and the customers straight up mock Spongebob because he got a kiss from his grandma. Why's that bad?! I get kisses from my grandma all the time! Then, Spongebob asks Patrick for help. Patrick tells him to act like a grownup. Then when they get there, PATRICK acts like a baby! So he just betrayed his best friend. Finally, we get to SpongeBob crying for his grandma's love. Grandma SquarePants says that he didn't need to be a baby for love. And we get a beautiful ending...then Squidward and the customers make fun of SpongeBob. Great more of this. Bad episode.
- #3 Squirrel Jokes: Do you want racist jokes and Sandy torment? Well, Squirrel Jokes is for you. This episode is straight up bullying Sandy. So Spongebob tells unfunny jokes, and decides to tell jokes about squirrels. That causes everyone to laugh. Sandy is of course offended by this, and she should be. Then we go to my biggest problem with this episode. At the Barg N'-Mart, Sandy goes shopping, but everyone starts treating her like she's stupid! She's the smartest one in the whole Bikini Bottom! Everyone else are a bunch of stupid idiots! Then Spongebob tells racist jokes about different species. Great. Oh, and this squirrel light bulb joke got old.
- #2 Dumped: Have You Seen This Snail? is good. Dumped, however, is not. In this episode, Gary randomly starts hanging out with Patrick, AND PATRICK RUBS IT IN SPONGEBOB'S FACE! Now in Have You Seen This Snail?, Gary running away worked, because SpongeBob inadvertently scolds Gary. Here it doesn't, because Gary just left him. And Patrick was hateable in this episode too! Oh yeah, more Spongebob crying. Like we need more of that. Maybe there should be an episode focusing on it! Oh wait, (dramatic music) there is one.
The Worst of the Worst[]
- #1 I'm with Stupid: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO PATRICK?! This episode portrays him as a bully and jerk. Patrick treats SpongeBob like crap. Spongebob only acted stupid, because he wanted to help his friend. But Patrick over here decides to bully Spongebob, and call him stupid for real! This doesn't feel like a season 2 episode. This feels like a season 7 episode! DO NOT WATCH THIS EPISODE!
