The day has finally come. I have made my decision to officially retire from ESB. I know it will be hard for some people to see me go, but I decided to move on, because I have more important things to do with my life. Before I move on to the major aspects, I just want to say that I will still be active on my wiki. And I will not be requesting an infinite block on ESB, because there's a small chance that I might visit this wiki one day, but it will not be often. Now let's move on to the two major aspects of why I'm retiring from this wiki.
Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of conversations about the UCP going on, and that's one reason why I'm retiring. I never had an experience being on the wiki that is UCP, but I was active on a few wikis before the UCP took over, and I am no longer active on those wikis. And seeing my favorite wiki being hit by the UCP soon had made me rethink about being on this wiki, and that would be my retirement. And I have also gotten more frustrated and irritated over people constantly talking about the UCP on this wiki, which is really annoying. I don't want to talk about the same thing everyday, and the topic has really stirred up the atmosphere of this wiki, which is another reason why I decided to retire, so I wouldn't talk about the same annoying thing everyday. I also think this wiki isn't fun anymore. I have been getting bored when I am on this wiki now, and I actually have a lot more hobbies I could be doing instead of spending time on a silly wiki. I used to like this wiki when I first joined, but now since there's a lot of things happening, I decided to no longer be active on this wiki.
Another reason why I am retiring is because I will be going off to college soon. I have been filling out college applications and I have been trying to be accepted in a college. There is one college that I might get accepted in, and if I do get accepted, I can start attending the university in January. I want to make sure that I plan my schedule ahead of time, so I can start attending college. Therefore, I cannot stay active on this wiki, because I want to put my college priorities first, and I will be very busy taking college courses. And with the amount of pressure I had while in high school, I don't want to have too much pressure with college while on this wiki, which is why I will not be active on this wiki. I want to have a good college life and make good grades and new friends. And I have a future to live for, and I want to accomplish my goals so my dreams can become a reality.
I had a really amazing experience on ESB. I made over 35,000 edits in a year, which means I was really active everyday. I made lots of H&Hs and have lots of conversations on message wall threads, which makes me an all-around social user. But sadly, those days are over. I will be moving on to better aspects of my life as I leave this wiki. I have made lots of friends on this wiki, and I will never forget them. They will always be in my heart, and I will always remember them. And I have gotten more popularity over the past few months because I am currently making my own show called The Peachy Show, which will still be in production. Since I will not be active on this wiki, I will not be making anymore announcements about my show in Discussions. I will be making announcements on my wiki. A few days ago, someone made me a special userbox for my retirement. If you would like to add my userbox on your profile page, put Template:MissingPeachy. I will miss everyone on ESB, especially my friends. I have made amazing contributions on ESB, and have done a lot of good things for the community. Now it's time for me to move on to better things. I'll never forget about this wiki and all the awesome times I had. I hope everyone would wish me luck in college, and I wish everyone to continue to do productive things on ESB.
