Survival of the Idiots title card

I really didn't know what to choose for the highlight of this episode, and that's because this episode is so fun and entertaining in just so many ways, and there's a lot of moments in this episode that stand out. For starters, the plot: the plot is about SB and Patrick getting trapped in Sandy's treedome, and that's pretty much it, because with that plot, they manage to make a whole episode based on how they try to have fun and later, survive in the treedome. I think that is a pretty cool idea for an episode, as making a 11 minute episode in only one location forces them to get creative with the concept, and they do.

First. the episode jumps straight to the point, as in a little more than a minute they're already into the treedome, and shortly after, they go to see Sandy, and they start to interfere with her dreams, which is kind of fun, but the scene can go on for a bit too long admittedly. Anyways, I found it funny, and how they act like fricking kids with her because she's asleep. This is one of those very childlike episodes I like a lot.

After that, they go play outside, pretending to be Pinhead Larry and Dirty Dan, and that's when Sandy wakes up, and I gotta say Sandy is hilarious in this episode. Her Hulk-like appearance and personality makes a perfect contrast with her usual characterization, and I really like that. Also, Pinhead Larry is really memorable for some reason.

Finally, the last part of the episode is the one referenced in the title, and it's pretty fun to see too, with Sandy saying that iron lung thing or Patrick suddenly ripping all the fur outta Sandy. It's just so fun, and so is the part where they try to escape the treedome because they fear the normal Sandy even more than the other one.

This one is just a really fun and memorable episode with a great plot, and it's probably one of the best of this season. I guess this season's good episodes are really good for the most part.

SpongeBob is jealous that Gary wants to spend time with Patrick.

Dumped title card

God, this episode is so terribly boring and dragged out. No really, there's nothing fun about this one or memorable. I'll probably not remember anything about this episode after making this review.

The first two minutes are made to set up the plot, and it's a kind of decent, but it's still kind of boring and dragged out, specifically the part where Patrick and SB keep laughing about how Gary likes Patrick for way too long. Anyways, then comes the next day, which at first consists of two minutes of literally nothing but SB trying to get Gary's attention trying to play with him or hanging himself in the window, with no comedy or anything but that happening at all. Yeah, that's it, it's like watching someone trying to get the attention of a guy who doesn't listen to him at all, and that's why both Gary and Patrick are so unlikeable in this episode, but we'll get to that later.

Because this episode is pretty much IWaTG 2.0, because it consists of just filler for 11 minutes, the next minute is about SB being a jerk and forcing Gary to come with him, but then, he let's him decide, and at this point I'm just thinking about how much I'd like this episode to have an interesting story and not just feel like they went to Bikini Bottom and decided to start recording SB's everyday life, because this episode's plot is like what you'd have if SB was as boring as real life. Anyways, then comes another minute of SB trying to get Gary's attention AGAIN but this time with a worm, and then two minutes of a jerky snail and how SB can't do the same things with this snail he did with Gary (without any comedy, obviously), and then comes the climax, where Patrick is a complete jerk that shoves the fact that Gary wants to be with him in the face of SpongeBob because... why not? It's cool to make your best friend feel awful and cry, specially when we are forced to see it. But wait! Because the climax really solves all the problems with this episode, because all this stupidity, boredom, snoozefest and exaggerated melodrama was because of a fricking cookie on Patrick's pants. Yeah, great way to end the episode! Thanks, that was pretty satisfying! Knowing that I lost 11 minutes to a complete disgrace to animation for nothing! Thanks!

Seriously this episode is on par with GK on awfulness. I'd have to decide which one is worse.
