Hello everyone. Today is a wonderful day for both ESB and myself, as it marks the end of 4 entire years of staff on ESB. Yes, 4 years ago on this exact date, I was first promoted to a chat moderator and have continued to hold staff positions to now. I'll spare the history of what happened in between and just use the rest of the blog to name a few good people that I wanted to thank along the way.

ZeoSpark - One of the most intelligent bureaucrats we've ever had who, although strict at the time, never meant to be unwelcoming and knew when to take a healthy break. I admire him heavily for having the foresight to leave the community when he didn't feel as though he enjoyed his time there, as forcing yourself to stay in a stressful environment doesn't help anyone. He has also been happy to listen to me when I needed someone to speak to about stress.
120d - A diligent former user on ESB who has definitely made immense contributions to the wiki that have undoubtedly benefited it in the long term. However, I want to thank him personally as well for also giving me heartfelt advice on a variety of topics and helping me to realize when I was not thinking clearly about some issues.
The gamer 987654321 - A user who, despite being controversial previously, has been long overdue for a mention somewhere in public. Even though we hardly had a single conversation, he stuck with me throughout my years of staff and defended me on the now defunct administration reviews. He is someone who has keen perception about anything he feels passionate about.
DanzxvFan8275 - A name that may be surprising for some old users who are lurking to read this blog, considering we both tried to demote the other person in two separate administration reviews, but years of being around the same community and common interests in the end, along with years of character growth, allowed us to see our similarities instead of differences. It's easy to have a conversation with him about many topics and we enjoy sharing a few jokes on a regular basis.
Jackninja5DipperGravityFalls - There isn't much to say about my friend here that she doesn't already know, but she knows that her company is always greatly appreciated and I sincerely enjoy every conversation we have, no matter how long or how short it is.
I also wanted to give a more personal mention to one of the best friends I have known in my entire life, who a lot of people likely know of.
Depth Strider 10[]
Depth was likely my first close friend on ESB and also my very first best friend on the internet as a whole. I remember 2016 extremely clearly, when he was just starting out with his editing and eventually climbed all the way up to administrator. He was one of the most popular admins on ESB but he unfortunately disappeared on July 31st, 2019, until returning to me in private almost a year later and ultimately disappearing again. I won't talk publicly about our friendship or our issues, but Depth has always been one of the closest people I've ever known, and him leaving deeply affects me to this day.
If by the off chance you are actually reading this and reminiscing about the past, all I have to say is that I wish you the best of luck with everything and hope you are in good health, even if you don't want to talk again. I hope that everyone on the community can at least celebrate his immense accomplishments as administartor and his overall joyful personality. Without him, the wiki has never felt the same...
Please, honor him just as much as you honor my 4 years (or much more, depending on who you are). I would have never made it this far without his company or the company of anyone else I've mentioned in this blog.

Some general shoutouts go to all the staff who were kind enough to look at the entire story instead of abandoning me because of drama. I would also like to acknowledge all the users from my earlier years who are still around on the wiki- you know who you are. I am going general with these comments because I don't want to end up leaving anyone out by accident, but if we've had a good relationship throughout the drama or in the past, you probably know that I'm referring to you.
Thanks for having me for 4 years.
