"Two Pests in a Teapot" is a The Patrick Star Show episode from season 4. In this episode, while Granny Tentacles is away, Patrick and Squidina watch her house, and release a parasite by mistake.

Characters[]

Synopsis[]

Granny Tentacles gets dressed to go to the spa, before seeing Patrick at her door. After shocking him with her jelly taser, she asks him why he is here, to which Patrick replies that he is watching her house. Granny Tentacles pays him five dollars, then leaves. Patrick tries to enter the house, but the door is locked. He sees his reflection in the window, appearing like he is already inside. Now inside the house, Patrick patrols the rooms, then starts destroying many of Granny Tentacles's possessions.

Patrick then spots another "pet" of Granny Tentacles's and slices open the door to its cage. The leech-like creature latches onto his neck, which prompts Patrick to name it Kissy. Patrick goes to the living room and watches TV, with Kissy slowly sucking him dry. In the TV, Squidina calls for Patrick to come on The Patrick Show!. Patrick picks up the TV, and Squidina falls out. Patrick tells Squidina he can't do the The Patrick Show! today because he is watching a pet.

After they find Kissy is missing, Patrick frantically digs into the walls, and kisses an electrical wire. Squidina gets the idea to lure Kissy with his favorite food. When they don't know what his favorite food actually is, they decide to cook everything in the house. After a cooking montage, Squidina tries to call Kissy for dinner, but he is reluctant. Patrick then loudly burps after eating all the food, causing Kissy to hurry away. Squidina's next course of action is to have Patrick think like an animal. Squidward arrives at the door, and Patrick instantly pounces on him. Squidward throws his pair of clippers away, Patrick running after them. Squidina commands him to stop acting like a dog, and she decides to ship in a pack of real animals to find Kissy. The truck rolls in, and the animals pour out, trashing the house. In the chaos, Squidward is knocked in front of Patrick and Squidina. As he walks away, Patrick and Squidina see Kissy on the back of his head.

Patrick runs after Squidward and slams him against the road repeatedly to detach Kissy. Patrick puts Kissy back in his cage, proud of the job he did. After Patrick sees black smoke coming from the kitchen, Squidina suddenly realizes she forgot to take the casserole out of the oven. Patrick feels water drip on his head, and remembers that he flooded the toilet. Granny Tentacles is seen walking to her house, looking drastically younger. Soon, the water from the bathroom floods out of the room and into the oven, causing steam to spray out Granny Tentacles's house, then exploding. Granny Tentacles frantically asks Patrick and Squidina what happened to her house, and Patrick tells her that they managed to save her pet Kissy. Granny Tentacles responds that Kissy was not her pet, but a pest she trapped. After Kissy latches onto her face, Patrick remarks he probably should not have opened Kissy's cage.
