Person

Thomas Glenn "Tom" King Jr. (born October 29, 1968); age 56) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. He served in seasons 4, 5, and 6 as a writer and storyboard director. King was originally paired with Luke Brookshier up until mid-season 5, when he was replaced by Nate Cash. King returned as storyboard artist for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. King also participated in the audio commentary for "Spy Buddies."

Trivia[]

  • Before he worked for SpongeBob SquarePants, he was the 3D Animator for the music videos Yule Be Wiggling and Hoop Dee Doo by Australian children's band, and HIT Entertainment/Playhouse Disney TV show The Wiggles in 2001.
  • "The Slumber Party" is the only season 6 episode that he worked on. It is his last episode as a writer and storyboard director. It is also the only episode he wrote and storyboarded without Luke Brookshier.
    • He did, however, return to work on The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
  • Coincidentally, he wrote both episodes where a building dramatically gets destroyed, being "Krusty Towers" and "The Slumber Party."
