Year 2001 was a common year starting on Monday. This year began the third season, aired the first and second half of the second season, and concluded the first season. A four-month hiatus lasted from May 19 to September 7.

"Shanghaied" aired on March 9, but its partner episode, "Gary Takes a Bath" didn't air until June 2002 on Nicktoons, and not on the main Nickelodeon channel until the following year.
