Timothy J. "Tim" Prendergast (born May 9, 1989; age 36) is a storyboard revisionist for SpongeBob SquarePants who has been a crew member on the series since 2017. In addition to his storyboarding work, he is an animator and motion graphics designer. He has created a variety of animated shorts featuring SpongeBob for Nickelodeon Animation Studio's social media accounts. He also animated the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show short that aired on February 3, 2019.
Biography[]
Prendergast worked as an animator on Turbo FAST, Hot in Cleveland, and China, IL before joining the art department at Nickelodeon. At Nickelodeon, he began as a storyboard artist on Blaze and the Monster Machines. He also worked on Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus as the lead animator.
He married Emily Merl on November 21, 2016.
