In January 2019, I made a blog to commemorate how the wiki had reached 20,000 pages (as well as a bit of questioning how wikia counts pages). My question is why are there now so many fewer pages? I have heard things about sub-galleries being merged, but during a fairly lengthy absence I cannot confirm that. Did "Fandom" change the way that it counts pages? Was there a massive purge of pages voluntarily other than sub-galleries? Because nearly 25% of a wiki's pages being deleted is an awful lot.
The second question i have is why were all of these pages deleted? Was there a good reason other than people addicted to this wiki needing to find something to do, or was there a genuine reason.? I would be interested to hear your thoughts and opinions on this if anyone responds, as 25% of a wiki's pages disappearing, a wiki that claims to want to catalogue all there is to know about the show, is an awful lot of pages, and therefore, presumably, information, lost.
