Synopsis[]

Patrick playing What's Going On?
The episode begins with Patrick waking up and falling onto a game show stage. He weakly asks, "What's going on?", which turns out to be the name of the show. As a prize, Daddy Dartfish offers him a cologne that makes him look like a game show host, and is forced to give up the job to him as a bonus prize. Patrick goes off to find contestants, his first two being Cecil and Bunny. He puts them on a game called Expired, where they sample expired food and guess what it was, and when it went bad. Both of them guess wrong and faint, leaving Patrick to offer a stomach pump as a consolation prize.
Next, Patrick goes into GrandPat's room and puts him on Explody Fold, challenging GrandPat to find a bomb that Patrick hid in his skin folds. GrandPat searches everywhere, but finds nothing. The bomb turns out to be in Patrick's butt, and it explodes in GrandPat's face. For the next game show, Temporal Casualty, Patrick has Sandy explain the rules. Squidina has to go back in time and change an ordinary object in the present day, being a coffee cup. Despite going all across time, Squidina is seemingly unable to change it. When she, Patrick, and Sandy leave, the coffee cup suddenly grows eyes and growls.

The Star family angry at Patrick.
The family catch up to Patrick before he can start his next game show. They call him out for his destructive behavior and chase him down, although Patrick escapes by crashing through the walls and winning a jetpack. Without Patrick, they debate over who should host the next game shows, and tell the audience to shout for who they want. The resulting screaming and noise angers the coffee cup, which grows into a dinosaur-like monster.
Patrick apologizes to Cecil for his game shows, and Cecil tells him that they have to stop the monster as a family. They all assemble into a giant robot and get ready to fight. However, the monster's watch goes off and alerts it that it's time for a coffee break. The robot pours coffee into it from the top of the house, calming it down. The monster announces the next game show, called The End, which Patrick declares is correct.
