This is the fifth special to be a clip show.
Instead of Patchy the Pirate hosting this special, Nate Burleson filled the spot to host this special. Von Miller was supposed to host, but was replaced for unknown reasons.^[2]
This special preceded an NFL Wild Card game playoff on Nickelodeon, which featured a sneak peek of the series' spin-off Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years at halftime.^[3]
"My leg!:" - Nate Burleson throws a fake flag making Fred scream "My leg!"
This special had 1.05 million viewers, making it the first episode to have more than a million views since "Escape from Beneath Glove World."
