"The Perfect Camper" is a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode from season 1. In this episode, the Trawler cabin creates the perfect camper to compete in the Camp Summer Games.

Characters[]

Synopsis[]

It's the annual Kamp Koral Summer Games, where all the cabins are competing. Everyone is preparing, and the Trawler cabin are determined to win. However, during the badminton event, Roxy loses to Roh and Rea when she accidentally hits herself through the net. The Frigate cabin scores in the hammer throw event, thanks to Craig Mammalton's strength. When Kidferatu spins to throw the hammer, he accidentally knocks his hat off and disintegrates. In the speed knitting event, Preda accidentally knits Mr. Krabs in a scarf while Harvey makes an entire castle and knight armor out of the yarn. In the final event, the grossest camper competition, Jimmy covers himself in slime. Patrick tops him by putting Jimmy's slime on pancakes and eating them, then burping loudly. The Trawlers are distraught at losing, but come up with a plan to win tomorrow's event.

The Perfect Camper 114

The starting line-up for the second day.

That night, the Trawlers steal elements from all of the counselors: a piece of Larry's shell, Lady Upturn's hair, some of Squidward's ink, and Bubble Bass's retainer. They mix them together into a cauldron and bring a golem-like creature named Clay to life. They go to enroll in the games, but Mr. Krabs tells them that only the head counselor of the group can compete. Kidferatu removes his hat and disintegrates again, so Krabs reluctantly welcomes Clay to the event.

When the games begin, Clay's strength and flexibility allow him to easily take the lead. Suddenly, anchovies begin firing electric chum balls at the campers. Bubble Bass is hit and knocked out. Larry deflects them with his tail, and Clay grows his own tail to imitate Larry. During the hang-gliding event, Clay imitates Lady Upturn and turns her hair into the form of a hang glider. Rather than hang gliding, Squidward decides to forfeit the games. While gliding, Lady Upturn's hair blinds Regigille and makes him crash, disqualifying them both. At the end of the competition, only Clay and Larry are left, riding mules. Clay narrowly wins by turning into Squidward and using ink to propel himself.

Clay wins the Summer Games.

Rather than returning to the Trawlers' cabin, Clay claims that he won the award himself and wants to keep it. However, the spell wears off, and Clay explodes into goop. They reclaim the trophy, with Kidferatu bringing it home. However, the wind blows his hat off, makes him disintegrate again. The trophy falls and crushes the other three Trawlers.
