The Patrick Star Show St. Patrick's Day marathon was an afternoon and evening event that occurred on March 17, 2023, rerunning five hours' worth of The Patrick Star Show segments to serve as a lead-in to the premiere of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Yellow Pavement."[1]

This marathon was confirmed to occur by Zap2it on March 2, 2023,[2] and it was publicly announced on Twitter by Cartoon News Network on the following day.[3]

Trivia[]

  • This is the longest the series has been marathoned on Nickelodeon, and the first time the series was marathoned longer than mini-marathons.[3][4]
  • Nicktoons had a similar Patrick-themed marathon, coincidentally occurring on the same day as Nickelodeon's. However, this block ran throughout primetime and crossed into the early morning hours of March 18, 2023.[5][6]
