The Nitwitting is an event that occurs in the episode of the same name.

Description

The members of the Empty Head Society perform the Nitwitting by trying to help the citizens of Bikini Bottom. They consider it their "civic duty" to help the community, but the Nitwitting is unintentionally harmful to the city due to the members' low intelligence and inability to do anything correctly.

The society begins the Nitwitting by singing "The Nitwitting Song." After the song, they drive around Bikini Bottom in mini-boats and find people that they think need help. Their attempts to help cause mass destruction that another group, F.E.M.A., must work to clean up.
