This article is a transcript of the SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob Gold short "The Krabby Patty Chronicles: Flipper Finds a Sport," which aired on .

  • Flipper: I'm pretty excited about what happened today. It started when I noticed Jagger, was in front of his building doing something called, the bottle flipping challenge. He's got skills. I told him how great I thought he was on flipping the bottle. He said it was nothing. Turns out, it wasn't as easy as it looked. [Flipper flips the bottle way too much] He said, I should take it easy. So we tried it again. [Flipper flips the bottle way too much again] I explained to Jagger that as I'm from Bikini Bottom, I'm used to move through heavy waters, so my arms may be too powerful. So he tossed me another bottle, and we learned something else: it couldn't catch 'em either. In Bikini Bottom, things move slowly, because everything's underwater. So today, Jagger helped me find a sport that I'm good at.
  • Flipper: First we tried ping pong, [the ball flies away] but first, not so much. But Jagger encouraged me, telling me my touch's getting softer. I just needed a little more control. Jagger thought that since I've master my control in table tennis, that I was ready for tennis tennis! Which is just pronounced, tennis. So we moved onwards and upwards!
  • Flipper: Again, not so much. Tennis tennis just wasn't for me. But then, Jagger picked the perfect sport: badminton. I could hit the birdie very hard, and still, it wouldn't fly away! It kinda reminded me of jellyfishing in Bikini Bottom.
  • Flipper: I'd finally found my sport! So we decide to end for the day! I may have lost a few pounds off my patty too! I hope we're gonna play a lot of badminton together! So, there it is. Another day in the life of a big-city krabby patty. Let us see what tomorrow brings!
