The Fifth & Sixth Seasons is a SpongeBob SquarePants compilation DVD set that was released on June 7, 2022[3][4] and contains all of the episodes from the fifth and sixth seasons. This is the sequel to The Third & Fourth Seasons DVD that was released on February 5, 2019.

- "Friend or Foe," "Atlantis SquarePantis," "Pest of the West," "What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?," "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One," "Truth or Square," and "The Clash of Triton" are all counted as double-length episodes. However, "Truth or Square" is counted as six chapters on this DVD due to its length, so it is chapters 10-15 on season 6 disc 2.
- "Atlantis SquarePantis" is counted as one chapter on this DVD, unlike the SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis DVD which counts it as six chapters.
- This DVD uses the extended 59 minute version of "Truth or Square."
- "Truth or Square" is the only episode from season 6 to be presented in a widescreen format. On this DVD, the episode "Truth or Square" is actually in full screen 4:3 letterbox with black bars on the top and bottom rather than true widescreen. On The Pilot a Mini-Movie and the Square Shorts DVD though, the episode is in true widescreen, filling the 16:9 display sets that the episode was produced in. However, The Pilot a Mini-Movie and the Square Shorts DVD uses the shortened 51 minute version of "Truth or Square" instead of the extended version found on this DVD.
Errors[]
- On the back description it says, "See chewed gum take over the pineapple..." However, the episode it is referencing is actually from season 4.
- On the front cover, Patrick's eyelids are pink instead of purple.
- Fred is colored gray instead of brown and Incidental 46 is colored like Incidental 42 instead of mint green.
- Even though "To Love a Patty" is episode 87a and "Breath of Fresh Squidward" is episode 87b, disc 2 has the opposite (87b, then 87a).
- The same error occurs in the third and fourth discs, with the episode numbers not arranged in packaging order or airdate order.
- The season 6 episodes are not listed by packaging order, and not even by airdate order. Instead, the episodes are listed by the order used on the season 6 compilation DVDs:

- SpongeBob vs. the Big One
- SpongeBob's To SquarePants or Not to SquarePants
- SpongeBob's Truth or Square
- Viking-Sized Adventures
- SpongeBob's Last Stand (excluding "SpongeBob's Last Stand")

- This also happens on Season 6 Volume 1, Season 6 Volume 2, Complete Sixth Season, Next 100 Episodes, and The Best 200 Episodes Ever DVDs.
- Even though "Squid's Visit" is 116a and "To SquarePants or Not to SquarePants" is 116b, disc 2 has the opposite (116b and 116a).
An image from "Porous Pockets" is shown on "Overbooked."
- In the episode selection on disc 4, the image for "Overbooked" is not from that episode; the image is actually the same one used for "Porous Pockets."
- The image is shown twice on the episode selection on discs 3 and 4.
- On the backside, "Pet or Pests" is mistakenly listed as "Pets or Pests."
"Damn, Neptune!" - Closed-captions error.
- In the closed-captioning version of "The Card," when SpongeBob says, "Dear Neptune!" while freaking out about Patrick possibly putting the #54 card in his pocket, the closed-captioning says, "Damn, Neptune!"
- This closed-captioning mistake also happens on SpongeBob's Truth or Square, Season 6 Volume 2, Triple Pack 1, Complete Sixth Season, Big Hits: Volume 1, Next 100 Episodes, and The Best 200 Episodes Ever DVDs.
