Pop-Up Trivia Facts
Trivia
- The reason Help Wanted is on this box set is because during the production of the Season 1 DVD box set, they had copyright issues over the song "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight," which was featured in "Help Wanted," so they ignored it and promised to include it in a future DVD release.
- There are more characters on the prototype cover than the final cover.
- The 3 discs are copy/pasted from The Complete 3rd Season.
- There are no deleted scenes in this DVD package, so thus there is no way of seeing the uncensored scene in "Just One Bite" in it.
- Region 2 and 4 releases remove all special features for unknown reasons. [citation needed]
- At some point in 2015, this DVD set and The Complete Fourth Season were released together in a bundle called the 2-Season TV Pack.
- On February 5, 2019, this DVD set and The Complete Fourth Season were released together again in a bundle called The Third & Fourth Seasons.
- On the DVD description on the backside, the following episodes are referenced:
- "The Algae's Always Greener" - "Plankton trades lives with Mr. Krabs"
- "SpongeGuard on Duty" - "SpongeBob patrols the beach"
- "New Student Starfish" - "Patrick goes to school"
- "The Camping Episode" - "the boys go camping"
- "Party Pooper Pants" - "SpongeBob throws a party to remember"
Errors
- On the front cover, Patrick's eyelids are pink instead of purple. This also happens with The Complete Fourth Season and The Complete Fifth Season DVDs.
- On the backside, "Krab Borg" is listed as "Krab Borg!," which adds an exclamation mark to the title.
- However, the Region 4 release lists the episode as "Krab Borg."
- On the Region 4 release, "Snowball Effect" is listed as "The Snowball Effect."
- In the closed-captioning version of "Plankton's Army," Plankton says that "United, the Plankton family could be a real pain in the fanny!, the closed captions say "belly" instead of "fanny."
- The same closed-caption mistake also occured on the SpongeBob Goes Prehistoric and Absorbing Favorites DVDs.
