The Complete First Season is the re-release of the SpongeBob SquarePants DVD box set The Complete 1st Season. It was released on November 13, 2012 and contains 41 episodes from season 1.

- At some point in 2014, this was released in a SpongeBob SquarePants 2-Season Pack with The Complete Second Season.
Errors
- The DVD main menu showed clips of "Your Shoe's Untied" and "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V" as well as various season 2 and 3 clips, but those episodes weren't on this DVD.
- In the Episode Selection on disc 3, the image for "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II" is not from that episode. The image is actually from "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III," which is not on this DVD. This error also happens on the Lost at Sea DVD.
- The "Employee of the Month" description says SpongeBob has been employee of the month for 226 months, while SpongeBob says in the episode he's been employee of the month for 26 months.
