Tall Tail[1] is a jock camper that resides in the Frigate cabin with Larry the Lobster, Craig Mammalton, and Mo. He first appears in the episode "Tag, You're It."
Description[]
He is an extremely tall light blue fish whose face is never seen. He wears a yellow shirt, a red kerchief, purple pants, and red sneakers with white socks.

He appears as one of the people who re-entered Kamp Koral (location). Later, he gets pulled into the bush, which made was responsible by the muscular figure (whom revealed to be Elwood), just for him to reappear at the Clamphitheater when after SpongeBob is last caught, he saw them that he thought were dead.

He is seen studying with the Frigate campers, where he incorrectly guesses that Jack from the "Jack Be Nimble" nursery rhyme jumped over him. He is then seen kicking Craig away from him when the Frigate campers start roughhousing.

He is seen lifting weights whilst training with the other Frigate campers.
"Camper Gary"[]
He, Craig, and Mo participate in the four-legged race, where his long legs allow his team to easily get in first place. However, he gets tripped up by SpongeBob, Sandy, and Gary before his team can cross the finish line.

Tall Tail makes a cameo at the beginning, seen with the rest of the jock campers in the morning.

Tall Tail gives a weather report on Perch's news segment. He stands outside and gets shocked by lightning.

When SpongeBob and Patrick are checking how smelly the campers are, this includes Tall Tail, who seems clean. He lifts up Patrick, rubs him into his sweaty armpit, and Patrick gives him a pass.

He is seen playing soccer with Larry, Craig, and Mo.
"Lake Crashers"[]
Tall Tail is seen in the stands of the demolition derby. Larry and Bubble Bass crash their car into his belt, causing his pants to fall down. He covers himself out of embarrassment.

Tall Tail is seen playing soccer with Mo and Larry.
"Helter Shelter"[]
He laughs at Sandy when she is unable to lift a heavy weight. Later, Sandy punches him out of the cabin.
"Deep Sea Despot"[]
He is seen roasting anchovies on a pizza with Craig, and Squidward makes them stop. Tall Tail later fixes the canteen's chimney by pushing it.
"The Perfect Camper"[]
When the Frigate members get too carried away with punching each other, Tall Tail yells for them to stop and punches them. During the race, he cheers for Larry with his cabinmates.
"Eye of the Hotdog"[]
He appears in Perch's documentary, explaining that Craig thought he won both first and second place because he had never lost before. He later helps Craig train to beat Patrick.

He kicks Nobby and Narlene after Pearl puts a "Kick Me" sign on their back.

He is seen with the rest of the Frigate cabin. When Larry loses his grip on a javelin and it gets flung away, Tall Tail avoids it by jumping.

When everyone grows beards like Paul Grunion's, Tall Tail has the biggest beard, which nearly covers Mo and Craig.
"Lords of the Larp"[]
He throws volleyballs at the campers on Dodgeball Day. He learns about larp from SpongeBob and joins him, Larry, and Craig in a battle against Mo and the Pontoon cabin. He is an archer and, in addition to using his bow, attacks with dodgeballs and a tetherball pole, which he uses to defeat Harvey. He is the strongest member of the battle and the last of his side to survive, only collapsing once Mo throws a die at him.

He auditions to wear the Bitey the Sea Bear costume, doing a tap dance that shakes the entire stage, and is rejected.
"Putt Up or Shut Up"[]
One of the obstacles in the second hole is to pass Tall Tail while he is doing squats. Mr. Krabs safely gets past him, but Squidward ends up squishing him.

He is briefly seen lifting weights, and he drops his on Mo.

On the last day of camp, he clears the stink out of the Frigate cabin by picking it up and squeezing it like an accordion.

- His name is a pun on the phrase "tall tale," which means an exaggerated and unreliable story.
- In some promotional art he is included in, the rest of him above his neck is shown, which shows that he has no face.
