Person

Zeus Cervas (born September 19, 1974; age 49) is a SpongeBob SquarePants crew member who worked on the show (in varying capacities) from season 2 up until season 9, and again from season 13 to the present day. Initially a storyboard artist, Cervas was promoted to a full-time writer in season 4, beginning with the episode Selling Out. Collaborating with Erik Wiese for the remainder of the season, Cervas, due to Wiese's departure, was eventually partnered with Casey Alexander as of season 5; the pair would become one of the series' longest-lasting and most prolific writing teams, persisting until the midpoint of season 9. Despite departing the show in 2012, Cervas briefly returned to work on the show during its 11th season as a freelance artist. He also worked on The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run as a storyboard artist[1], and returned to the franchise full-time on The Patrick Star Show and season 13 in 2020 onward.
