An eight hour marathon of SpongeBob SquarePants December 2 , 2018 at 12:00pm - 8:30pm Eastern/11:00am - 7:30pm Central on Nickelodeon (USA).
It was made as a tribute to Stephen Hillenburg , who passed away on November 26 , 2018.
Schedule [ ] Trivia [ ] "Goons on the Moon" is the only season 11 episode, as well as the only episode after season 3 , to air in this event.
This was the second event to be dedicated to someone, the first was Mermaid Man-a-Thon , which was dedicated to Ernest Borgnine .
