Tales from the Deep is a SpongeBob SquarePants DVD that was released on January 28, 2003 and contains five episodes from season 1 and four episodes from season 3.

Tea at the Treedome Edgar version

Edgar Larrazabal version

  • On the opening credits of "Tea at the Treedome" on this DVD, Edgar LarrazĆ”bal is credited as the animation director instead of Tom Yasumi. This also happens in early reruns of "Tea at the Treedome"[1] and it's possible that this DVD uses an early airing of that episode.

    On The Complete 1st Season, The First 100 Episodes, and 10 Happiest Moments DVD releases of "Tea at the Treedome," Tom Yasumi is credited as the animation director instead of Edgar LarrazƔbal.
  • "I Had an Accident" and "Born Again Krabs" premiered on this DVD 9 months after being aired on TV.
  • There are two pairs of sister episodes on this DVD. The first is "Valentine's Day"/"The Paper" and the second is "Born Again Krabs"/"I Had an Accident."
  • This DVD is rated PG in Canada.
  • All of the episodes on this DVD had clips during the "Underwater Sun" song music video on the special features, except for "I Had An Accident" and "Born Again Krabs."
