Taco Sombrero is a restaurant that appears in the episode "SpongeBob You're Fired," the online game of the same name, and the book You're Fired! It is managed by Señor Taco.

About[]

Description[]

Exterior[]

The exterior of the building is a brown wooden building, with a light brown sombrero-shaped roof. The word "taco" is written in green letters on the top part of the roof, and the word "sombrero" is written in yellow letters on the bottom part of the roof. There are red and green flags on the building with tacos on it. There is also a mustache surrounding the front entrance.

Interior[]

The interior of the building has a wooden floor and orange walls. There are multiple booths along the side of the building. There is also a kitchen in the back part of the building, with a door going in the kitchen and one door going out of the kitchen.

Role in episode[]

This is the third place SpongeBob goes for a new job after he had been fired from the Krusty Krab, Weenie Hut, and Pizza Piehole. SpongeBob tries to apply for a job here and he creates a Burrito Patty that Incidental 106 offers to try. As he takes his first bite, the burrito's contents spray out the sides of the tortilla, hitting Incidental 105 and Incidental 107 who are both standing right next to him. As a result, SpongeBob gets fired and is deemed unprofessional.

Later in the episode, Señor Taco grabs SpongeBob with his suit because supposedly the customers really liked the Burrito Patties and tries to rehire him. Señor Taco ends up getting in a big fight with the other restaurant owners until SpongeBob is rescued by a giant Killer Krabby Patty, who turns out to be Squidward in disguise.

Trivia[]

  • Taco Sombrero is the only restaurant where the owner does not immediately fire SpongeBob upon seeing his Krabby Patty creation, instead letting his meal be given a chance until its consequences are revealed.
