Sweet & Sour Squidward is a SpongeBob SquarePants DVD that contains three episodes from season 7 and four episodes from season 8. It is based on the episode "Sweet and Sour Squid." It also includes a Fanboy & Chum Chum episode as a bonus feature. While a physical version was never released in the United States, a digital version was released.


Synopsis

Trivia

  • This DVD was released on iTunes on the same day as the DVD.
  • This DVD has not been released in the United States. However, the collection can be seen digitally on iTunes and Amazon Video.
    • It is also available in the US for digital download on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video as a "movie," which is really just the individual episodes put together on one long video, similar to selecting "Play All" on a DVD. It is also available on the PlayStation Store for PS4, PS Vita, and formerly PS3. [1]
  • This is the second DVD to have a Fanboy and Chum Chum episode as a bonus feature.
  • "Restraining SpongeBob" is the only episode on this DVD to premiere in 2012. All of the other episodes premiered in either 2010 or 2011.
  • "Plankton's Good Eye" and "Squiditis" replace "Buried in Time," "Enchanted Tiki Dreams," and "Squidward in Clarinetland" in the Japanese release.[1]
  • Barnacle Face” is the only episode on this DVD where “Squidward” doesn’t play a major role, and he does not make a physical appearance.
