• This episode is 16 minutes long.
  • This is the fifth regular episode to be longer than the usual 11-minute runtime. The first is "Shanghaied," the second is "Back to the Past," the third is "Feral Friends," and the fourth is "Squirrel Jelly."
• This is the first 16-minute episode of season 12 in production order. The second is "Handemonium and the third is "Krusty Koncessionaires."
• The title card is very similar to that of "The Algae's Always Greener," except some light and bubbles are added in the background.
• In this episode, Martin Olson reprises his role as The Chief who he previously played in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V" from season 3.
