SvampeBob Firkant is the former Norwegian dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. It has previously aired Nickelodeon Scandinavia and NRK1, due complaints over SpongeBob's voice. It is part of International SpongeBob SquarePants.

Controversy[]

During its run on Nickelodeon Scandinavia and NRK1, people who watched the show complained over SpongeBob's noisy and annoying voice, which resulting both networks to cut ties with Sun Studio Norge and redub the entire show with a new dubbing studio, SDI Media Norway.

Trivia[]

After being pulled from Norwegian television, the dub is considered to be lost media, since there is no trace of the dub being up online. However, the Norwegian dub of first movie uses many voice actors from the first dub.
