SvampeBob Firkant is the Danish dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. It has previously aired on DR1 and DR Ultra and currently airing on Nickelodeon Scandinavia, Nicktoons Global, and DR Ramasjang. It is part of International SpongeBob SquarePants.
On January 1, 2020, DR Ultra ceased operations as a TV channel and then relaunched as a streaming service the following day shifting to a much older audience. Thus all children's programming is to be moved to DR Ramasjang. This was based on the decision of the Danish Broadcast Corporation due to budget issues and a decline in viewership.[1]

Trivia[]
- Unlike most other dubs, title cards are usually read emphatically and humorously in this dub. This was initially not the case during the first few episodes of season 1, but it occurred midway through that season and has been a staple of this dub ever since.
