Sypnosis[]
It's a typical day for The Patrick Show!, with Patrick performing gleeful sock puppet antics for his audience. Unfortunately, it comes to Pat's attention that there's a villain afoot - a cold-hearted fish stealing Granny Tentacles' purse. Using a port-a-potty occupied by GrandPat, Patrick turns into Super Patrick and uses his belly button powers to suck in a wrecking ball to defeat the fish, and retrieves Granny Tentacles' purse - much to her dismay. Super Pat then flies off into the sky, crossing paths with Super Squidina, who breaks the fourth wall and tells the audience that they aren't the only super-powered ones, bringing forth their "snazzy intro."
The SuperStars' origins are revealed to be thanks to a toxic waste dump in Bikini Bottom, giving them each super powers (Patrick is "stupid," Squidina has "ink," GrandPat has "power naps," Cecil's is "dad," and Bunny's got "heart.") The crew are then called in by President Krabs, who asks them to use their powers to lower crime rates and help his image. They cause chaos and destruction among everyone and everything around town, but after Super Bunny brings down a snail from a tree, the Stars are abducted by a giant doily.
The doily drops them into a secret lair, a mechanically apt version of a pink, teacup house that gets the Stars caught in various fatal contraptions based on typically harmless home appliances. The Stars all seem doomed, but GrandPat's power naps come to use, with his beard tickling the giant foot he's about to be crushed under. All of the Stars break free from their traps, but just before they leave, the villain reveals herself to be Granny Tentacles, who continues to war with the gang. The two parties land onto the ground after an action-filled quarrel, where Patrick still eats Bunny's cookies that she made from Granny Tentacles' tennis ball projectiles during the fight. As Patrick says that her reign of terror is over, Granny smacks the star into a boatmobile. Pat gets an idea and consumes the vehicle with his belly button, with Cecil catching on and transforming into a golf club, flying the boat-consuming star into Granny and causing a massive explosion.
In the end, Granny T. is defeated, but the citizens aren't taking it too well, as the Stars had only caused destruction throughout the whole thing and instead saw Granny as a hero. When telling everyone that President Krabs hired them to save the town, he gets into his jet and is flown away. All of this causes the Stars to transition to the dark side, gaining evil goatees and going back to their destructive habits. The Patrick Show!'s viewers, however, are left in the dust, with one of them suggesting to change the antenna, as the episode ends.

Trivia[]
General[]
- This episode's premiere, alongside the other three in its premiere week were simulcasted on Nicktoons.[9] Due to Nicktoons' spacings of commercial breaks, the episode effectively debuted on that network first.
- This episode's working title (according to a filename sourced from Scott Bern's website) was "PatrickStarShowSUPERSTARS."[1] It is also possible that this episode may have just been called "SuperStars" without the space, as the filename not only merges the words, but the SuperStars' opening sequence refers to the in-episode superhero group like that.
- This episode's title is a pun on the compound word "superheroes."
- This episode was initially supposed to premiere on August 21, 2023 at 1:00pm, later 5:00pm, but was later pulled for unknown reasons.
- On its new date, it was originally going to premiere at 5:00pm, but it was moved to 4:00pm.
- A different Superhero Bunny previously appeared in "A Root Galoot."
- This episode was paired up with a rerun of "The Star Games" during the original American airing.[10]
- This episode was accidentally listed on Prime Video Canada on August 20, 2023, along with its sister episode.[11]
Dub facts[]
- This is the last episode of The Patrick Star Show and the entire SpongeBob franchise as a whole to credit Luis Pérez Pons as the voice of Mr. Krabs in the Latin American dub before his death on October 24, 2023.
Episode references[]
- The suit President Krabs wears is the same one he wears to the convention in "Kracked Krabs."
Cultural references[]
- The Super Stars' opening sequence is a parody of the Super Friends', with both Super Patrick and Squidina's introductions parodying Superman and Wonder Woman respectively.
- The Oval Office appears in this episode as President Krabs' headquarters, and the Washington Monument can be seen in the office's window.[2]
- Squidina's ink portal power as Super Squidina is similar to Liv Baker's Ghost Portal power as Myst in Ghostforce.
Errors[]
- Patrick has no eyebrows in the signs that the angry crowd are holding.
- When Squidina ties up Granny Tentacles, her sleeves are yellow for a frame.
