Synopsis[]
On his show, Patrick does an elaborate motorcycle stunt by launching himself out of a cannon and doing tricks. After he lands, he sponsors Star Brand Pickles. He struggles to open the jar and winds up breaking his hand. Patrick gets into an ambulance, but it rides off a ramp on its way to the hospital and crashes. Squidina is left with no way to continue the show until GrandPat comes by and effortlessly opens the pickle jar. Squidina gets the idea to cast him as Patrick's stunt double.
Squidina shaves off GrandPat's beard so that he resembles Patrick more. She uses an airhorn to signal when Patrick and GrandPat switch places, and demonstrates with a skit involving Patrick getting hit in the head by a falling coconut, having GrandPat take the hit instead. Next, Squidina has Patrick into a boxing match against a sea bear. GrandPat, not wanting to get injured, distracts Squidina and loosens the cap on her airhorn. When the fight begins, Squidina tries to blast her airhorn, but it falls apart. She is unable to get it back together, and Patrick is beaten up by the sea bear. When Squidina finally gets the airhorn back, GrandPat has fallen asleep and the sea bear is tired from attacking Patrick. It falls asleep and GrandPat shows up to claim the victory.
Next, Patrick does a cooking segment and makes a cheese sandwich. Squidina thinks that Patrick will be fine with it, but at the last moment, GrandPat switches himself out and eats the sandwich. Saddened, Patrick goes into the kitchen, where his parents and Squidina are throwing him a surprise party. GrandPat again swaps in and blows out his birthday candles, and eats his cake. Patrick tries to go to bed, but Squidina has GrandPat sub in for him. Upset, Patrick leaves his bed and goes to sleep on a pile of scrap metal.
The next morning, Patrick finds that GrandPat has taken over his entire show, with the audience being unable to distinguish him and Patrick. GrandPat repeats the coconut skit, and when Slappy comments how dangerous it is, Patrick gets the idea to act as GrandPat's "stunt triple" and do the stunts. Squidina and GrandPat agree that there cannot be two stunt doubles, so she has him and Patrick participate in a "stunt-off."
Patrick and GrandPat each blast out of cannons, but they begin blowing airhorns to substitute each other. Their fight leads them to crash into a flaming barbecue grill. Due to their injuries, the two wake up conjoined and shrunken in a jar of pickles. Squidina unenthusiastically advertises the pickles and goes to eat one, with Patrick and GrandPat attached to it.
