Synopsis[]

The book starts at the Krusty Krab during closing time. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Squidward that a snowstorm will start later. He rushes to his and Pearl's home to hide his money from the storm. Squidward is convinced that it will be the worst snowstorm ever, so he buys a lot of storm supplies in preparation. He sees SpongeBob and Patrick and tells them, "You are going to be sorry if you don't get ready."

"That's why we are having a party!" says SpongeBob. He and Patrick put on party hats and decorate SpongeBob's pineapple with streamers. Squidward puts on a winter coat and boards up his windows. SpongeBob and Patrick blow balloons and announce that the storm is the star of their party. The storm gets closer as Squidward drags his plants inside.

SpongeBob plays music and does a swirling dance to imitate the storm. The sky gets dark, and the storm appears. Snow starts to fall exclusively on Squidward's house, which becomes buried. The storm leaves without touching SpongeBob's house. Squidward shovels his way out of the snow and knocks on SpongeBob's door. "We knew you'd change your mind, Squidward! You are just in time for karaoke," says SpongeBob, holding a microphone. Squidward sighs, ending the book.
