Stephen Hillenburg (born August 21, 1961) is an American animator and the creator of the animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. He is now a SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. He is also the voice of Potty the Parrot. He is the one who made all episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants.
Hillenburg also played the ukulele on some of the original music composed for the show, including the "Best Day Ever" special.
Stephen Hillenburg was born on August 21, 1961 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

- On May 25, 2012, Stephen Hillenburg announced that he would be producing "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2".
- Hillenburg left the show after the movie came out, beause that's when the show was originally supossed to end.
- Unlike what is said by rumors, he did not leave the show but still serves as its supervising producer.
