Role in game[]
Squid Jellies are first introduced in Jelly Glove World. They are mini bosses that the player will need to defeat. SpongeBob meets it and Glovey Glove traps him in Glove World Jail and hits it many times and defeats it. When SpongeBob is nearby, they will either spit two squid-shaped projectiles at a time, or they will shower down loads of saliva onto them. As they are airborne, they can only be defeated with long-range attacks. It is recommended that the player defeats them using the Reef Blower, using it to suck up its projectiles and shoot them back at it. This enemy will only appear once or twice in every area that it is present in. They are the most powerful enemy in the game, as they usually take six hits to defeat. They drop six jellies when defeated.
Trivia[]
- They act similar to the Slick robots from Battle for Bikini Bottom and Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated who it put the little squid in its mouth and spits it to the player while the Slicks can shoot oil blobs at the player from a long distance.
