The SquarePants family is a family a sponges who descend from the primitive spong,e as well as SpongeGar, who discovered fire along with Patar and Squog. The primitive sponges lived in what was most likely Bikini Bottom. The history of the SquarePants family is unknown until the eighteenth century, when SpongeBuck SquarePants settled in Bikini Gulch. His descendants still live in Bikini Bottom, the most notable being SpongeBob SquarePants.

SpongeBuck had saved the town and in his honor, a statue was built. The statue was put in the center of the town, and, centuries later stood in downtown Bikini Bottom, where it was covered in jellyfish waste. (1866-1950)
Apparently during his life in Dead Eye Gulch, he was a major authority figure. His best friend, Pecos Patrick (referred to as This Guy by Spongebuck) died 17 years before Spongebuck in 1933.

He looks virtually identical to his present-day counterpart, but has various robotic abilities, such as hovering and heat vision. He has 486 clones, each representing a letter of the alphabet, which has apparently been greatly expanded in the future. (3986-present)

Donald and Megan Squarepants are Todd Squarepants' parents. They died when Todd was 115 years old. (1944-2050)
