SpongeGlob, formerly known as "Globulous Maximus," is a one-time antagonist in the end-stage from the video game SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom and becomes the heroes' deuteragonist.
Description
He takes the shape of the series main character, SpongeBob SquarePants, except he has one eye with antennae-like eyelashes and is a darker color.
Role in game
He is created at the beginning of time, during the "Big Sneeze." He is the one who has been making the orange goo fall down on the Nicktoon characters' hometowns. The heroes and The Evil Syndicate work together to travel into space and defeat him. However, The Evil Syndicate's plot to capture him and use him for his own selfish ends.
Globulous reveals to the heroes that he does not wish to be bad nor be used for evil, so in order to stop the villains, he morphs into "SpongeGlob" and fights the villains on the moon, destroying the Vessel of Portentia, thus leaving the villains stranded in deep space.
He returns the heroes back to Volcano Island and leaves, vowing to right all the wrongs he has caused.
