  • This is the second 4-D ride based on SpongeBob, followed by "SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D: Ride."
  • There are three different versions of the punishment scene that the Flying Dutchman drags the trio into: a department store's perfume section, a disco dance club, and a land of snow.
    • In the disco dance club scene, the song "Party Rock Anthem" is played.
  • The pre-show for this ride plays the track "Bikini Bottom Bound" in full, albeit with sound effects added.
  • At Sea World Australia, the ride is shown in 3D instead of 4D.
  • This ride was dubbed and shown in Turkey too.[3]
  • The ride in Detroit Zoo is called "SpongeBob SquarePants Ride: The Great Jelly Rescue!"
  • In 2016, the ride was also showed at the She'd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois.
  • "My leg!:" Someone says this when SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy are flying on jellyfish through Goo Lagoon.
  • The parks where this attraction is currently operational:
  • When the trio are at the Krusty Krab when Sandy says "Sayonara!," Patrick says, "That's French for Goodbye!" It is actually Japanese for goodbye, as in French, it is "Au revoir."
