SpongeBob SquarePants (also written in Devanagari as स्पंज बॉब स्क्वायर पैंट) is the Hindi dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. It is aired in the South Asian country of India. Episodes are dubbed in Hindi and air on ETV Bal Bharat, Nick India (formerly), Nick HD+ and Zee TV. It is part of International SpongeBob SquarePants.

Censorship[]
- In Nick India airing of "Ripped Pants", every time SpongeBob rips his pants, it is completely blurred, however on ETV Bal Bharat it's not.[2]
- "The Executive Treatment" was banned there due to the green eel being considered scary to children.
- Unsurprisingly, the scene from "That's No Lady"— where Patrick strips and gets naked— was cut, and replaced with Mr. Krabs gaping in shock.
- In many episodes, the boob in "SpongeBoob" (a mispronunciation of SpongeBob) is censored.
Trivia[]
- Despite using the "Nick" name, Nick India does not air any content from the original American network in recent times as part of a localization strategy. Original shows of the channel are only shown on the Nick HD+ channel. Thus, the show has been exclusively airing on the HD+ channel since 2018.
- For unknown reasons, ETV Bal Bharat produced their own dub of some episodes from season 2[3] and all of season 7 onward, despite them already having a Hindi dub.
- Interestingly, the re-dubbed season 2 episodes and the re-dubbed episodes of season 7 onward use completely different voice casts from one another and are presumably done by different studios, despite being ordered by the same channel in the same time period.
Errors[]

- When "Texas" and/or "Walking Small" airs in India[4] (also happens in Nicktoons UK), the show's logo is textless at the end of the intro.
