SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam is a SpongeBob SquarePants mobile app game that was released for the iPhone and iPod Touch on December 22, 2009. It was developed by, German game developer, lbxgames Gmbh and published by MTV Games.

Gameplay[]

"SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam" consist of three rhythm minigames where the player taps bubbles or burgers to the beat of the music to earn points.[1]

The three minigames consist of

  • "Bubble Bongos" - Pop the bubbles in time to make SpongeBob and Patrick dance.
  • "Jellyfish Groove" - Tap the colored mussels in corresponding to the musical reefs.
  • "Let's Rock" - Tap the burgers in time to make SpongeBob rock out his guitar.

There are three difficulties for each level; Rookie Rocker, Advanced Rocker, and Bikini Bottom Star.

There is a quality status on the top left corner that determines how well the player is doing. If the player plays well, the meter goes up to green. However if the player plays badly, it drops down to red. If the meter becomes empty, the player loses and have to try again.

Once the minigame is over, the player is graded on how well they did. SpongeBob has a corresponding animation for each grade.
