- All of the episodes of the miniseries were released earlier on DVD in November 2010.
- In addition, "Trenchbillies" was released on Facebook a few days before it aired on American television.
- "The Curse of the Hex" was supposed to be paired up with "Trenchbillies" as part of the final two episodes of the miniseries,[citation needed] but for unknown reasons, a rerun of "The Curse of Bikini Bottom" aired instead.[3] The episode was held for the entire event, until it officially aired during SpongeBob's Summer of New Premieres.
