SpongeBob's Idle Adventures is a SpongeBob SquarePants mobile game. It was released on September 7, 2021, although it soft-launched earlier in some countries.[3]
Gameplay[]
At the start, the player gets three main bases, a business, Sandy's treedome and the Vortex Machine. The character that uses the wheelbarrow collects the boxes and ships them to the Vortex Machine, which turns them into energy. Using energy can boost the speed up process and can be used to get other types of businesses.
The player can also collect chests that can be collected if doing a quest, in the chest it can either be Krabby Patties, energy, gems, and character cards. Krabby Patties are used to level up characters which can boost their multiplier.
Character cards are cards that once gotten, the character can be used in the businesses. The cards are sorted through rarity, which are commons, rares, epics, legendaries, and mythics. All characters are in a different class, these include:
- Residential
- Food
- Sport
- Converter
- Collector
- Entertainment
Gems are used to buy chests, character cards, Krabby Patties, and warps in the shop. Gems can also be collected by jellyfish that swarm by the screen, collecting those reward items.
After a while, the dimension can be available and the user can go to the next dimension, completing each dimension can give the user a rare chest or other rewards.
After dimension 6, the player unlocks the "map" which can track what dimension they're currently in. Chests can also be collected on the map.
