Plot

SpongeBob is assisted by a D.R.I.V.E. mentor named Seymour Scales to earn his license and pass the last test of the year.

• This was the 4th game where you could drive, the first being The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game. The second one was Lights, Camera, Pants! The 3rd one was Creature From The Krusty Krab.
• This is the 2nd appearance of Rock Bottom. First was in the episode Rock Bottom. It even appeared in the Battle For Bikini Bottom game. (only counting episodes)
• Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy drive for the second time in a game first is lights, camera, pants

  thare is a reference to a nick catscrach game in the dialog mr.random fish may ask "is that a banana in your tail pipe?". note that in the online catscrach game the big bully guys would put various fruit in the cats monster truck's tailpipe at the beginning of a level
