Shubie[4] (born May 11, 1973[5]) is a red-pink fish who regularly visits the Krusty Krab and Goo Lagoon. She first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."
Description
She is a red-pink fish who has dark blue eyes and pale pink fins, legs, and lips. She wears a light teal skirt and light teal bra.
Family
Shubie is the mother of Susie Rechid, as revealed in "Not Normal." She is also the mother of Baby Billy and she appears with him in many episodes such as "Goo Goo Gas" and "Free Samples." She may be the mother of Taylor Fishbowl, as shown in "Not Normal." She is the ex-wife of Nat Peterson and appears with him in numerous episodes, such as "Sun Bleached" and "SpongeHenge." She is sisters with Evelyn, to whom she looks very similar.
History
"Krusty Krab Training Video"
Shubie appears as one of the customers who gets knocked over when SpongeBob is freaking out over Plankton making an escape for the exit in the segment "Emergency Situation."
"Roller Cowards"
Shubie appears as one of those waiting in the line to the Fiery Fist O' Pain while SpongeBob and Patrick run away from Old Man Jenkins repeatedly saying "Why won't you let me on the ride?"
"Goo Goo Gas"
Shubie appears holding her baby at Barg'N-Mart and running over Plankton twice with her shopping cart twice after he insults her baby.
"The Battle of Bikini Bottom"
Shubie works at a clothing store at the Bikini Bottom Mall.
"SpongeHenge"
Shubie is seen walking out of Diner with Nat Peterson with leftovers.
"Not Normal"
Shubie, with her kids, at the zoo, see SpongeBob and Patrick and call them "undesirables."
"No Hat for Pat"
Shubie is the one who says "We're getting out of here!" as she covers her ears to Squidward's bad clarinet playing, and she also appears spectating outside watching Patrick fall while Mr. Krabs puts on his Krusty Krab employee hat.
"Cave Dwelling Sponge"
She is in the crowd of angry customers after Squidward gives her and the other customers patties with car engine parts in them.
"There's a Sponge in My Soup"
Shubie is about to eat her Krabby Soup, but a hippie pops out and tells her "Make soup, not war." Angry that there is a hippie, she returns her soup to Squidward saying that "there were hippies in the soup."
Trivia
- Her appearance is similar to Evelyn.
- In Sun Bleached she appears at Craig Mammalton's party with Nat Peterson despite not having a tan.
- She has appeared in every season of the show up to season 12.
- It is revealed in "Goo Goo Gas", that she has a baby.
