The Shopping Maul is a shopping center in Patgar that appears in the episode "Chopping Spree."
Description[]
Exterior[]
The mall is built into a cave within a rocky cliffside. Above the entrance, there is an arch with a big skull. There is a sign above it with the name of the place written in glowing orange letters. There is a toll booth where entry costs three heads.
Interior[]
Inside, there is a big area for parking rideable creatures. Further in, there is the marketplace itself, where numerous products are available for purchase, and it's so large that a map is needed to navigate it. The mall has many sections, such as the food court with free samples, the Health and Fitness Center, the Bath & Bludgeon Works, and many more.
Role in episode[]
Pat the Hapless goes to the Shopping Maul after the Dragon Carcass Owners Association gave him a coupon for a bath bomb to cleanse himself and get rid of his horrible stench. Outside the mall, the gatekeeper stops him because Pat only gave two heads as an entry fee instead of three, so he cuts off the clerk's head as the last. Pat parks his Puffasaur and enters the building, where he spots Beelzebass. The two prepare to fight, but stop and go their separate ways instead. Pat is slowed down by a few sirens offering free samples, but he manages to move on by cutting off their hands. After getting lost in the Maul, he begs for help at a fountain, only to be kidnapped by two goblins. He is held captive in the Health and Fitness Center, where one goblin tries to offer him a gym membership, but Pat escapes and beheads the goblins. The last bath bomb is on sale for half price, so Pat hurries through the crowd to get there before anyone else. Just as Pat is about to grab the bath bomb, Patrick reaches through the story and eats it. Furious, Pat goes on a rampage in the Maul, smashing containers filled with perfumes, which cover him as he leaves the Maul.
Trivia[]
