Role in episode[]
Sharkface and The Sharks go to the Krusty Krab to get some food, but realize that it’s closed. However, Sharkface sees SpongeBob inside performing flips and tricks while mopping, and is impressed by his moves. Outside, Sharkface introduces SpongeBob to The Sharks and makes him part of the group.
Soon after, Sharkface is driving The Sharks around Bikini Bottom, and SpongeBob notices how intimidated the citizens are by The Sharks, but Sharkface tells him not to worry. They arrive at the Howlin Marlin, where the bouncer refuses to let Sharkface and his group in after they wrecked the place last time. SpongeBob urges Sharkface to look for another club, but Sharkface claims that it is their spot.
As they talk, Sharkface then hears the telltale sounds of The Pods, The Sharks' rivals, and are about to start something when the police intervene. Sharkface comments that they'll meet The Pods at the showdown, but SpongeBob refuses to go. Sharkface warns SpongeBob to not disappoint The Sharks before driving off.
At home, SpongeBob finds a note from Sharkface that reveals he took Gary, and to go to the showdown to meet him again. After gearing up, SpongeBob heads to the showdown to fight The Pods, where Sharkface and the other sharks reveal that they are not a gang, but a dance troupe; the "intimidated citizens" were fans, their ban from the club was due to a dance accident, and Gary is their DJ for their dance-off against The Pods.
After everything is cleared up, Sharkface and his group begin dancing off against The Pods but are interrupted when the police and Internal Affairs arrive to dance. Sharkface loses hope due to the new arrivals, but SpongeBob uses his mopping tricks to help Sharkface and The Sharks win the dance-off.
