Appearances
It is most known as the retirement home of "Mermaid Man" and Barnacle Boy, but as seen from several episodes, it is a very popular retirement home as many elders seem to live there.
Inside Shady Shoals
As seen on the first episodes, on the front door, there is a fish on a desk attending the visitors, behind the desk is probably a hall and then the main room, where there is a TV a water drinking fountain, sofas and plants decorating the room. There is also a canteen that serves Broccoli, Meatloaf and so on. It probably serves Prune Juice too, as in the Episode "Doing Time", a lorry is seen delivering it, until it was destroyed by Sponge Bob and several Police Cars
