So she makes them do some actions and then puts the seaweed mustaches under their noses. When they open their eyes and realize they have mustaches, SpongeBob and Patrick get happy and go down the trench, since they think they're invincible as adults, although they weren't. Thankfully, a branch was there and saved the two from death.
