The fifth season of The Patrick Star Show was officially confirmed by Nickelodeon at New York Comic Con 2024,[1] on October 18, 2024.

A total of 13 half-hour episodes were produced for this season, all of which were originally meant to be the second half of the show's third production season.

Production[]

Mike Pelensky, who worked as a storyboard director alongside Gabe Del Valle, left the series in November 2024.[2]

Jacob Fleisher, who was one of the main outline writers, left the series and Nickelodeon Animation Studio as a whole in February 2025.[3]

Clayton Morrow returned to the series as a full-time storyboard artist in April 2025.[4]

Aaron Painter, who was a prop designer, became a character designer in August 2025.[5]

Kali Fontecchio, who was a character designer, left the series in September 2025.[6]
