The second and final season of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years was announced on August 11, 2021.[1]
A total of 13 half-hour episodes were produced for this season.
Season 2 was released in full on Paramount+ on July 10, 2024. The season later premiered on television on February 14, 2025 with "Mad Science Squirrel" and "To Pop a Bubble," and so far, more episodes are yet to be aired.
Production
Rough storyboarding for the season concluded in August 2022, when Mike Dougherty finished his half of the rough storyboards for "End of Summer Daze."[2] Megan Ann Boyd, who worked exclusively as a director on "Parasite Pals," did so in 2022.[3]
Revisions began in February 2022.[4][5] Plussing continued throughout 2022 and early 2023. By June, April "Pinkie" Davis finished her plussed boards for "Nut Madness,"[6] "Cretins of the Night" was being plussed in November[7] and December[8] of 2022. Eliza Herndon finished her storyboard revisions for the series in January 2023,[5] while Keith Silva finished his the month after.[4] Howie Perry, a storyboard supervisor, worked on the season from April 2022 to January 2023.[9] Joann Chang plussed the season from March to November in 2022.[10]
Look development for the season began in March 2022[11]. Background design for episodes up to "Putt Up or Shut Up" was finished by October 2022.[12] Finalized reference art for layouts and props was done throughout 2023, such as the kitchen for "A Tale of Two Roxies" being designed on January 13.[13]

Color design[14] and prop design[15] for the season was finished by February 2023. Kate Coffey, a lead environmental artist for the show's entire run, left that March,[16] implying production was close to ending.
On June 1, 2023, Bob Camp implied that the show had concluded production during an interview.[17]
Across June 6, 7, and 9, 2024, the episode listings were added on YouTube as part of Paramount+ Global, revealing images from them.[18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41][42][43] The Paramount+ channel uploaded episodes, some having different thumbnails, later that month, revealing more images.
On June 20, 2024, the season's official poster and release date were revealed, and promo images for select episodes were uploaded to Paramount+'s press site. On the same day, Brandon Warren posted his sketch for the promo art, along with some ideas that were not chosen.[44] Judging by the file directories, the press images had first been uploaded on June 18.

- This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants show to end its run.
- According to Brian Robbins, the spin-off was planned as a limited summer series, resulting in it only having two seasons.[45]
- "The Suit Suits You," "Parasite Pals," and "End of Summer Daze" are the only episodes to be finished in 2024.
- This is the only season of the franchise to have no original songs in it.
