It is a well-known place in Bikini Bottom, with many patrons who come here to relax. Attendants can also buy balloons from Incidental 39.
Description[]
The park contains swings, spring toys, slides, and other playground items. There are also many trees, a bridge, and a river where one can rowboat for free. There are also picnic grounds and benches.
Role in series[]
"Karate Choppers"[]
Sandy and SpongeBob go to Seashell Park to get their minds off karate after making a promise with Mr. Krabs. While at it, the two have a picnic and decide to make barnacle loaf sandwiches. Despite his promise earlier, SpongeBob and Sandy furiously slice the ingredients into individual pieces in a rowdy manner that is reminiscent of karate.
Mr. Krabs arrives to see that they were both performing karate despite his promise to fire SpongeBob if he does it again. Admitting his mistakes, SpongeBob accepts the consequences of his actions, but Mr. Krabs reconsiders and gets the idea to have SpongeBob and Sandy karate-chop the food at the Krusty Krab as a faster profit boost.
"Dying for Pie"[]
The park appears when SpongeBob takes Squidward to it to introduce him to Incidental 42.
"Life of Crime"[]
SpongeBob and Patrick are walking through the park, both constantly asking each other what they want to do. After this, Patrick decides that he wants to buy a balloon, which they do, but they steal it from Incidental 39's balloon stand without paying and deem it as "borrowing."
Despite thinking of themselves as criminals, it turns out SpongeBob and Patrick were not thieves the whole time and it was National Free Balloon Day.
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game[]
In the level "Sandwich Driving 101," SpongeBob and Patrick drive through the park in the Patty Wagon on their way to the edge of town.
In the level "Drive of the Knucklehead-McSpazitron," they drive back through it on their way to the Krusty Krab 2. Plankton has filled the park with statues of himself, oil wells, and bottles of Volcano Sauce.
"Have You Seen This Snail?"[]
The park makes a cameo when Gary is seen drifting through the park's river, underneath the bridge to run away and find a more loving and caring owner.
"Cuddle E. Hugs"[]
During the montage of SpongeBob and Cuddle E. Hugs playing, one of the places they play at is the park. There, Cuddle tickles SpongeBob, causing some Bikini Bottomites to look at him strangely when he laughs.
"Mandatory Music"[]
Squidward is inside a booth, calling people over to perform on his clarinet. Everyone goes crazy because of his bad music and the angry mob throws Squidward out of the park.
At the end of the episode, Squidward plays music with his nose in the park for a crowd and everyone cheers for him.
