Synopsis[]
Sandy finds SpongeBob and Patrick sitting with the Trawlers, and decides to stay on her own. She confesses to SpongeBob and Patrick that the Trawlers creep her out, partly due to her not understanding their science. However, SpongeBob and Patrick are sad that Sandy is not friends with their own other friends, and plan a sleepover at the Trawler cabin. Sandy hesitates, but decides to go.

When the three arrive at the Trawler cabin that night, Sandy is scared by Preda's sudden appearance. She takes a sample of Jimmy and is unsettled by his oozing. She mistakes Roxy's sister for an unnatural growth, and hisses angrily at Kidferatu. SpongeBob and Patrick reassure her that she will get along with the Trawlers. However, the two disappear behind a spinning wall. Jimmy suggests they went to the bathroom, and Sandy looks around the cabin to find her way there. However, all the doors in the hallway are identical, so she does not know where to go.
Sandy finds her way into Preda's room, where she sees SpongeBob and Patrick-shaped cocoons. They turn out to contain her dirty laundry. Preda interrupts and directs Sandy elsewhere. She walks into Kidferatu's room and sees two coffins, which are actually tanning beds. In the bathroom, Sandy thinks she sees Patrick covered in slime, but it is actually Jimmy. She screams and slips out the window.

Outside the house, Sandy spies Roxy wielding an axe and then holding up what appears to be a slice of cheese. She takes a star-shaped cake out of the oven. Terrified, Sandy thinks that SpongeBob and Patrick are in danger, and rushes in to save them. The Trawlers invite her for dinner, and unveil SpongeBob and Patrick sitting under dinner trays. They turn out to be alive and well, admitting that they wanted to surprise Sandy with themed dishes: mixed nuts and Swiss cheese, and a star-shaped acorn cake in honor of Texas.
Sandy admits that the Trawlers are not that scary, and invites them over for a sleepover next week. There, the Trawlers have fun with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy. However, Squidward comes in and tells them to go to bed. The sight of Squidward's grotesque, exhausted face terrifies the Trawlers and sends them running out of the cabin. Sandy laughs that she is not the only "scaredy squirrel" in camp.

- Wells said it was an honor to work with Bob Camp on this episode,[4] and that the final episode turned out "gorgeous!"[5]
- Wells said that she "absolutely love[d] the Trawler Cabin interior." She said "[she] would totally decorate a house like this."[6]
- Wells "absolutely adore[d] the final painting and how much more hilarious [the CG crew] made Squidward, especially with the freaky tiny baby tooth on the left side they added."[7]
Jennifer Gleeson:
- Gleeson, a storyboard artist on The Patrick Star Show, said that she loved Wells' boards, amd said that "the Squidward gross-up really is the pièce de résistance, I can see all the love and care poured into every pimple".[8] She believed that "the CG team did such a great job translating the boards! (though I REALLY wish they’d kept in the eye pimple)".[9]
